Valicor Environmental Services has expanded its network of wastewater processing facilities with the acquisition of assets associated with Dagger Oil Recovery LLC and Regio Vacuum Service Inc (Dagger).
Dagger manages a nearly-completed centralized wastewater treatment (CWT) facility in Houston, Texas. The facility is in the final stages of construction and permitting and will open in the near future.
Based in Monroe, Ohio, Valicor is one of the largest providers of non-hazardous wastewater treatment services in North America. With its fleet of tankers and a network of strategically located CWT facilities, the company transports and processes diverse wastewater streams that result from the manufacture of industrial and consumer goods.
James Devlin, CEO of Valicor, said: “The Dagger asset will complement our recent addition of two CWT facilities through the acquisition of MidState Environmental Services and represents another important step in Valicor’s strategy to add geographies in order to better serve new and existing customers.”
“Dagger will play a critical role in building out our offerings of wastewater and other environmental solutions and we could not be more excited about this addition to the Valicor platform,” added Devlin.
Valicor is a portfolio company of Chicago-based private equity investment firm Wind Point Partners. Wind Point acquired Valicor in June 2017 in partnership with James Devlin, who joined the company as CEO.
Valicor’s acquisition program focuses on acquiring operators of CWT facilities as well as other providers of waste management and environmental services, including materials recycling, used oil processing, product destruction, landfill solidification, and related services.
