The company will present their alternative drive systems and shielding. At the IAA, GKD will display mesh structures used in batteries and various types of fuel cell. These also include shielding mesh for protecting the batteries from electromagnetic radiation. With composites, the company makes a contribution towards weight reduction as well as efficient shielding. Furthermore, filters made of three-dimensional metal mesh used in the exhaust train take on the function of a police filter in LP EGR systems. They also monitor the exhaust gas flow in particle oxidation catalytic converters. Customers can visit GKD in hall 4.1, stand C30.
