The Edison award recognized Pure Spout’s On-Fountain Filter System, which is aimed at schools as a cost-effective solution to reduce lead in drinking water and provide safe drinking water for grade school children.

“Pure Spout is honored to be chosen as a 2024 Edison Award winner, a true testament to the effective solution our product provides for our country’s most vulnerable population – our children,” said Mark Campbell, Pure Spout co-developer and water quality scientist. “Lead in drinking water can result in significant health, developmental and behavioral complications for children. The On-Fountain Filter System, a low-cost, high-quality solution, is certified to reduce more than 99.9% of lead in water, ensuring children are consuming safe water.”

Pure Spout’s On-Fountain Filter System is a patented solution that replaces the standard spout on drinking fountains. The product provides an immediate, cost-effective solution to reduce lead in drinking water and is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for lead reduction by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).
